The WithIn hybrid female cow is finished, well the sculpt is, I have this moulded and have a resin cast out, I'll sort some pictures of the mould if anyones interested and post them in the WIP thread, it was a 1 peice silicone rubber mould 20 kilos and a mutli peice fibre glass jacket.

The cast has been made with gell coat pigmented resin and fibreglass, paint to go

Any comments or crit always welcome Very Happy

This is a really beautiful sculpture, Gerard. I love the design. Did you work off of a lifecast at all, or was it a freehand sculpture? Either way, the finished product is fantastic.

Great job~

Hey Jeff thanks for the nice feedback...

All freehand, maybe a little free mad Smile the starting sculpt looked loads different, i'll see if I can find some pictures of the first rough, I got alittle carried away but it was great fun just building it up and a good learning curve. the hardest part was maybe the human hand, I messed so much with that one from human to distorted back to human...

Woah that's a crazyass mold! How did you decide how to segment it like that? Awesome sculpt though! The concept is so far out there it just freaks my mind. I LOVE IT!

WoW Shocked

Gerard it's fantastic to see this finished.
It's turned out amazing! I remember the first pix of this, the anatomy was slightly off...but you've corrected that wonderfully.

Such a interesting concept with all the little characteristic details like mentioned, the weighty udders/breasts, the human & mutated hand with it's little pinky finger Cool

Brilliant job, looking forward to see the casted painted version.

Loved this idea from the first posts of it--and the finished work is outstanding.

And, I gotta say, topical--have you seen the PeTA letter in which they request that Ben and Jerry's use human milk?

Amazing original and creative as always Mr. Hunt. Been watching this one for a while. Good to see it looking so sick and amazing like I knew it would.

Here's a couple of pics of the roughs

Originally a female sculpt

Time for a better stand Very Happy

Adding the cow, I've had neighbours looking over fences, kids lowering there heads in shame, and relatives wondering what on earth...really enjoyed doing this one!!

And the casting waiting for paint

Hi Greyguy there's a back down to the hips and then it's flat (well open) I ended up sculpting over the stand as I moved down so the back of the legs where in the centre of the stand

Thanks guys, appreciate the support

Hey Rob hope things are busy with you guys Smile

really nice work. Those of us who do, even on rare occasion, milk cows now will have thoughts and questions to possibly feel guilty about.

Wow! Can't say much else than that...except for that veiny utters are creepier than I thought they would be. Excellent job, Gerard!
